User acts partly as User and partly as Employee depending of the circumstances he/she appears in.

The User role is part of the buildin security system in the TOPICA framework. Username and password are used to authenticate the user at log in while associations to and employement by organisational units as well as granted permissions are used to authorize user to perform various tasks in the system.

The Employee role makes it possible to associate an employee with actions performed on patients, other employees, organizational units and the like.
