Synchronizing Organizational units

The TOPICA Web Framework has a built-in functionality to import organization hierarchy to an intermediate table. Using the intermediate table makes it possible to choose which changes to accept and which to reject.

Caution note Caution

Synchronization of organizational unit is available only i versions 4.17 and later.

Synchronizing the organization hierarchy with intermediate table

In menu line choose "Organization" - > "Hierarchy" to synchronize organizational units. Choose the Synchronize tab. The synchronize form appears showing all the differences between the orgunit and intermediate table.

Before pressing the synchronize button choose which changes to accept/reject by checking/unchecking the corresponding check boxes.

Caution note Caution

As there is no way to undo a change only accept the changes you want.

Press the "Synchronize" button to start synchronizing the organization hierarchy. When the synchronization is finished the Synchronize form is shown again with any remaining differences.
